Job Description
The HR & Admin Manager will be responsible for leading the daily human resources operations and administrative functions to support our growing solar EPC projects. This role involves end-to-end employee lifecycle management, hiring competent sales person for our sales team, and ensuring the smooth running of both the corporate office and remote project sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources (60%)
- Recruitment & Staffing: Lead end-to-end recruitment for Solar sales team and technical (Engineers, Project Managers) and other non-technical roles. Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent for site-based positions.
- Onboarding & Mobilisation: Manage new hire orientation, employee onboarding, and efficient mobilization/demobilization of site personnel.
- Performance & Talent Management: Oversee the performance appraisal system, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement coaching/mentoring plans.
Employee Relations & Welfare: Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, foster a positive work culture, and manage employee safety and welfare initiatives.
2. Administrative & Site Management (40%)
- Office Facility & Site Logistics: Oversee daily office administration and vendor management.
- Site Mobilization Support: Manage site-related expenses, logistics, travel arrangements, and accommodation for staff.
- Asset Management: Maintain inventory of IT equipment, tools and hardware, and office supplies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s in HR or specialized HR/Admin course is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in HR & Administration.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, Construction, or Infrastructure sector is mandatory.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Contract Labour Act).
- Proficiency in HRIS/payroll software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project sites. [1, 2, 3, 4]
