Job Title: Security Guard

Job Summary:

The Security Guard monitors premises, prevents unauthorized access, responds to incidents, and ensures the safety of employees, visitors, and property.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain security.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit of visitors, employees, and vehicles.
• Verify identification and issue visitor passes when required.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security breaches.
• Report suspicious activities, incidents, accidents, or safety hazards.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Prepare accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist in evacuation procedures during emergencies.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when necessary.
• Enforce company policies and security procedures.
• Required Skills and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous security experience is an advantage.
• Good observation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety regulations.
• Physical fitness to patrol and stand for extended periods.
• Valid security guard license or certification (where required).
• Working ConditionsMay work day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Can be employed in offices, factories, hospitals, schools, residential communities, shopping centers, or event venues.
• Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
