Job Description

  • Core Fitter SkillsReading drawings & blueprints
  • Understanding mechanical drawings, tolerances, and layouts.
  • Measuring & marking
  • Using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, steel rules, and gauges accurately.
  • Cutting & shaping
  • Hacksawing, filing, drilling, tapping, reaming, and grinding metal parts.
  • Assembly & fitting
  • Aligning and assembling machine parts, shafts, bearings, couplings, etc.
  • Use of hand & power tools
  • Spanners, hammers, drills, grinders, and more.
  • Maintenance & repair
  • Diagnosing faults and fixing machines.
