Job Description

A Design Engineer plans and designs products or systems using technical knowledge, creativity, and software tools. They ensure designs meet functional, safety, and cost requirements while complying with industry standards.

  • 🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design new products, components, or systems
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Conduct research to understand project requirements and constraints
  • Test and evaluate prototypes for performance, safety, and durability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, project managers)
  • Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback or testing results
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • 🧠 Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and engineering concepts
  • Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
