Press Operator

Job Title: Press OperatorDepartment: Production – Press ShopLocation: Advent ToolTech Pvt. Ltd., Chinchwad MIDC, PuneJob Summary:The Press Operator is responsible for operating mechanical/hydraulic press machines to manufacture sheet metal components as per production requirements, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are maintained.

• Key Responsibilities:Operate power press machines (mechanical/hydraulic) as per SOP.
• Load and unload raw materials (sheet metal components).
• Ensure correct tool/die setting before starting production.
• Perform in-process inspection using gauges and measuring instruments.
• Maintain production output as per daily targets.
• Identify and report any abnormalities in machine or tooling.
• Ensure proper handling of tools, dies, and finished components.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE (Safety Shoes, Gloves, etc.).
• Support tool changeover activities when required.
• Skills & Requirements:Basic knowledge of press machines and sheet metal operations.
• Ability to read simple drawings (preferred).
• Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.).
• Understanding of safety practices in press shop.
• Physically fit to handle production work.
• Qualification:ITI / 10th / 12th Pass
• Experience:1–3 years in press shop / sheet metal industry (Freshers can also apply)
• Working Conditions:Shift-based work
• Standing job with continuous machine operation
• Factory/industrial environment
