Job Title: Store, Inventory & Procurement Executive (Electronics Components)

Role Overview

The role is responsible for managing end-to-end store operations, inventory control, and procurement of electronic components (e.g., semiconductors, passive components, connectors, PCBs). The objective is to ensure accurate stock levels, timely procurement, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted production/operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Management

• Maintain proper storage and handling of electronic components (ESD-sensitive items, moisture-sensitive devices, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with FIFO practices
• Organize bin locations, labeling, and tracking systems
• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity)
• Handle inward and outward material movement
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Track stock levels and generate reorder alerts
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory
• Maintain safety stock levels based on consumption patterns

3. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and procure electronic components from approved vendors
• Float RFQs (Request for Quotations) and compare vendor quotations
• Ensure procurement from authorized distributors to avoid counterfeit parts

4. Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with production, R&D, and planning teams for material requirements
• Ensure timely availability of components to avoid line stoppage
• Monitor lead times, especially for long-lead or imported items
• Track shipments and coordinate with logistics for inbound materials

5. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure incoming materials meet quality standards and specifications
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection and approval
• Maintain documentation like GRN (Goods Receipt Note), invoices, and compliance records
• Follow ESD safety standards and handling procedures

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of stock, procurement, and vendor performance
• Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) alignment with inventory
• Track KPIs like inventory turnover, stock accuracy, and procurement efficiency

7.Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of electronic components (ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, etc.)
• Understanding of ESD handling and storage requirements
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Analytical skills for inventory planning and forecasting

8.Educational Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in: Electronics Engineering

9.Experience

• 2–3 years (Executive level) Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or R&D environment preferred
