Wiring Harness Line Operator

Job Summary: The Line Operator is responsible for assembling wiring harnesses and automotive

sensors as per defined work instructions, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are

met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform assembly of wiring harness components (cutting, stripping, crimping, taping, routing).

- Assemble automotive sensors (housing, PCB handling, sealing, testing if required).

- Operate basic tools and machines like crimping tools, cutting machines, and testers.

- Follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards.

- Conduct visual inspection and basic quality checks.

- Maintain production targets and report abnormalities.

- Ensure proper material handling.

- Maintain cleanliness and 5S.

- Follow safety guidelines and use PPE.

Skills & Requirements:

- Basic understanding of wiring harness or electrical components.

- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.

- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in shifts.

- Basic reading skills.

- Team player with discipline.

Education: ITI / Diploma / 10th or 12th Pass

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in wiring harness assembly or automotive manufacturing

Knowledge of crimping standards and connector assembly.

- Production output vs target

- Rejection / defect rate

- Adherence to safety and quality

- Attendance and discipline
