Store Manager / Floor Supervisor

Job Summary:The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately processing customer purchases, handling cash and digital transactions, issuing bills, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The role requires attention to detail, honesty, and a customer-friendly approach.

• Key Responsibilities:Billing & Cash HandlingOperate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently.
• Scan and bill products accurately.
• Receive payments through cash, UPI, cards, vouchers, and other approved modes.
• Issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
• Ensure accurate cash collection and handover at the end of the shift.
• Reconcile cash drawer and report discrepancies immediately.
• Customer ServiceGreet customers warmly and assist them during checkout.
• Resolve basic customer queries regarding products, prices, offers, and store policies.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company guidelines.
• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times.
• Store OperationsEnsure checkout counters are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with billing supplies.
• Verify pricing and promotional offers during billing.
• Assist in bagging customer purchases when required.
• Support stock replenishment and other store activities during non-peak hours.
• Compliance & SecurityFollow company cash-handling procedures and security protocols.
• Identify and report suspicious transactions or activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
