Job Title: Accounts Executive – Accounts Payable (Vendor Management)

 

Job Summary: The Accounts Executive will be responsible for accurate recording of vendor invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, performing vendor reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Invoice Booking

  • Record vendor invoices in Tally / Marg ERP on a timely basis
  • Record/Generate Vendor credit & debit notes.
  • Verify supporting documents (PO, GRN, invoice) before booking
  • Check mathematical accuracy and compliance with GST provisions
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trail

2. Accounts Payable Management

  • Prepare aging analysis of creditors
  • Assist in payment processing as per approval hierarchy
  • Perform periodic (monthly/quarterly) vendor reconciliations
  • Identify and resolve differences in balances
  • Coordinate with vendors for statement confirmation
  • Follow up on pending invoices / debit-credit notes

3. Coordination

  • Coordinate with:
  • Purchase department (for PO/GRN issues)
  • Vendors (for clarifications and reconciliations)
  • Finance team (for payments and reporting)

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of Tally / Marg ERP (preferred)
  • Understanding of Accounts Payable process (P2P cycle)
  • Basic knowledge of GST and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and follow-up skills

Educational Qualification

  • B.Com / CA Foundation

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Vendor Accounting
