Position: IT Technician / Network Support Executive

Location:Saket Hospital, Prayagraj

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Reports To: Hospital Administrator / Management

Job Summary The IT Technician / Network Support Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the hospital’s computer systems, network infrastructure, internet connectivity, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Network ManagementInstall, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks

• Manage routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and internet connections
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure stable connectivity

2️⃣ Computer System MaintenanceInstall and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and operating systems

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Ensure smooth functioning of hospital management software, billing systems, and medical record systems

3️⃣ IT Equipment ManagementMaintain printers, scanners, biometric devices, and barcode systems

• Manage CCTV cameras and recording systems
• Monitor and maintain hospital Wi-Fi network

4️⃣ Data Security & BackupEnsure regular data backup of hospital records

• Maintain antivirus protection and system updates
• Protect sensitive hospital data from security threats

5️⃣ Technical SupportProvide technical assistance to hospital staff

• Resolve IT-related issues quickly to avoid operational delays
• Support IT requirements during audits and inspections

6️⃣ Documentation & InventoryMaintain records of IT equipment and assets

• Monitor hardware maintenance and repairs
• Maintain IT maintenance log and service reports

• 🔹 QualificationDiploma / Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Certification in Hardware & Networking / CCNA / Network Administration preferred
• 🔹 ExperienceMinimum 1–3 years experience in IT support and networking

Experience in hospital IT systems preferred

🔹 Key Skills RequiredHardware troubleshooting skills

• Networking knowledge (LAN, routers, switches)
• Knowledge of CCTV and biometric systems
• Basic server and data backup knowledge
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• 🔹 Working ConditionsRotational duty if required
• Emergency IT support availability
