JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: IT & Hardware Support Executive (Network & Systems)
Location: Saket Hospital, Prayagraj
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Reports To: Hospital Administrator / Management
🔹 Job Summary
The IT & Hardware Support Executive will be responsible for the complete management of hospital IT systems, network infrastructure, and hardware maintenance.
The role requires strong expertise in networking, system administration, and hands-on hardware repairing (computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals) to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Network & Connectivity Management
- Install and maintain LAN/WAN networks
- Configure routers, switches, and Wi-Fi
- Ensure stable internet connectivity
- Troubleshoot network issues
2️⃣ System & Software Management
- Install and maintain desktops/laptops
- Manage operating systems and updates
- Support hospital software (billing, HMS, EMR)
3️⃣ Hardware Maintenance & Repair (Core Responsibility)
- Diagnose and repair computer hardware issues
- Perform desktop & laptop repairing
- Repair and maintain printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Replace components (RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, cables, etc.)
- Minimize system downtime
4️⃣ IT Infrastructure & Equipment Handling
- Maintain:
- Printers & scanners
- Biometric devices
- Barcode systems
- Manage CCTV systems
- Monitor hospital Wi-Fi network
5️⃣ Data Security & Backup
- Ensure regular data backups
- Maintain antivirus and updates
- Protect sensitive hospital data
6️⃣ Technical Support
- Provide immediate IT support to staff
- Resolve issues quickly
- Support audits (NABH/QCI compliance)
7️⃣ Documentation & Inventory
- Maintain IT asset records
- Track repairs and maintenance logs
- Maintain service reports
🔹 Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / IT
- Hardware & Networking certification preferred
🔹 Experience
- 1–3 years in IT support
- Hospital experience preferred
🔹 Key Skills
- Strong hardware repairing skills (Computer + Printer)
- Networking knowledge
- CCTV & biometric handling
- Problem-solving & communication
🔹 Working Conditions
- Shift-based duty (if required)
- Emergency IT support availability

As per hospital norms & experience
