Job Description
Position: Tally Accountant
Company: Mahaveer Building Material Company (MBMC), Pune — On-site
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 / month (based on experience)
Experience: Freshers (0–1 yr, Tally cert preferred) and Experienced (3–5 yrs in trading/construction)
Job brief
Join MBMC to manage accounting, inventory, and GST for steel & building materials (TMT, CRS, plates). Role scales from data-entry and stock updates for freshers to end-to-end Tally Prime accounting, reconciliations, and filing for experienced hires.
Key responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day entries in Tally Prime, bank reconciliations, and ledgers.
Manage inventory: stock updates, godown-wise tracking, purchase/sales order support.
GST, e-invoicing/e-way bills, TDS support and filings (level varies by experience).
Prepare MIS, debtor/creditor aging, cash-flow snapshots.
Reconcile vendors, support audits, coordinate with suppliers and clients.
Must-haves
B.Com or equivalent preferred.
Tally Prime proficiency; freshers with Tally certification welcome.
Good Excel skills; knowledge of GST portals and MSME/supply-chain accounting.
Accurate, deadline-driven, able to handle high transaction volumes.
