Accountant & Audit Assistant

K Y M & Associates, a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm, is seeking a competent and enthusiastic Accounts & Tax Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various compliance and accounting functions including GST, Income Tax, ROC filings, and statutory audits, while also handling day-to-day accounting and documentation work.

The role requires hands-on experience in GST return filing using Tax Power or similar software, along with a sound understanding of GST reconciliation and compliance processes. The candidate should be proficient in accounting using Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime, capable of maintaining books of accounts, posting journal entries, and assisting in the finalization process.

In addition to tax and accounting duties, the role will involve filing income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies, managing TDS compliance, and supporting statutory audits and tax audits under the Income Tax Act. Familiarity with ROC compliances, such as preparation and filing of forms like AOC-4 and MGT-7 under the Companies Act, is also essential.

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is required, especially for drafting letters, preparing reports, and maintaining structured documentation. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
