Job Description
Key Responsibilities
A. Accounting & Finance
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (sales, purchase, expenses, and bank entries)
- Handle invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups with clients and vendors
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records
- Manage GST compliance including filing returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
- Assist in TDS calculations, returns, and statutory compliance
- Prepare MIS reports, P&L summaries, and financial statements
- Coordinate with CA/auditors for audits and financial closures
- Track project-wise costing and profitability (important for projects)
B. Office Administration
- Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Maintain vendor records, contracts, and documentation
- Handle procurement coordination (office supplies, basic project materials)
- Support HR functions such as attendance, payroll inputs, and employee records
- Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and assist leadership team
- Ensure proper filing and documentation (physical & digital)
- Handle basic compliance and regulatory documentation
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (Zoho Books, Tally or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
- Good understanding of compliance and taxation
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
