Career Counsellor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Educational Counselor to guide students and parents regarding academic programs, career opportunities, admissions, and course selection. The counselor will be responsible for generating admissions, maintaining student relationships, and achieving enrollment targets.

• Key ResponsibilitiesStudent CounselingCounsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, entrance exams, and admission procedures.
• Understand student requirements and suggest suitable programs.
• Explain institute offerings, fees, scholarships, and career benefits.
• Admission ProcessHandle complete admission process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and meetings.
• Maintain inquiry and admission records.
• Lead Generation & ConversionConvert walk-ins and telephonic inquiries into admissions.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students.
• Achieve monthly admission targets.
• Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with students and parents.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams.
• Resolve student queries and complaints professionally.
• Marketing & OutreachParticipate in seminars, school visits, education fairs, and promotional activities.
• Support digital marketing campaigns and local branding activities.
• Generate references and student referrals.
• ReportingMaintain daily counseling reports and CRM updates.
• Submit admission and performance reports to management.
• Required SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Convincing and counseling ability
• Good presentation skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM, Email)
• Ability to work under targets
• Positive and professional attitude
• QualificationGraduate in any stream (preferred)
• MBA / Marketing background is an advantage
• ExperienceFresher or experienced candidates can apply
• Experience in education, sales, telecalling, or counseling preferred
• SalaryDepending on experience and performance
