Job Title: CNC Press Brake Operator

Job Summary:The CNC Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of metal fabrication processes.

• Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend metal sheets and plates
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders
• Select appropriate tooling (dies, punches) based on material and design
• Program or adjust CNC machine settings for accurate bending
• Measure and inspect finished parts using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Troubleshoot minor machine or production issues
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
• Required Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field
• Experience: operating CNC press brake machines (1–3 years typically preferred)
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T basics
• Knowledge of sheet metal properties and bending techniques
• Familiarity with measuring instruments
• Basic CNC programming knowledge is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to handle metal sheets and stand for long periods
• Preferred QualificationsExperience with CNC controllers (e.g., Delem, Amada, or similar systems)
• Knowledge of different materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel
• Prior experience in fabrication or manufacturing industries
• Working ConditionsFactory or workshop environment
• Exposure to noise, metal dust, and heavy machinery
• May require shift work and overtime
