Design Engineer

 Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with hands-on experience in CATIA and AutoCAD to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of product design, 3D modeling, drafting, and technical documentation. You will be responsible for creating accurate designs, supporting production teams, and ensuring projects meet quality and engineering standard

• 📌 Key Responsibilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA and AutoCAD.
• Prepare and update detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.
• Modify existing designs based on customer requirements or feedback.
• Collaborate with the production, tooling, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and fitment checks.
• Assist in prototype development and design validation.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety guidelines, and company specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all design files.
• 🎯 Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in design using CATIA and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and GD&T.
• Ability to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drafting layouts.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, tooling preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
