Job Description
Job Summary:
A CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating computer-controlled machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines such as milling, turning, or drilling machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders
- Load raw materials and ensure proper machine alignment
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform routine inspections using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Make minor adjustments to machine settings for optimal performance
- Maintain production records and report any issues or defects
- Ensure machines are cleaned and maintained regularly
- Follow safety guidelines and workplace procedures
- Skills & Requirements:Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code understanding preferred)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality control processes
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work in shifts and handle production targets
- Basic troubleshooting skills
