Job Description
- Dismantling machine sub-assemblies, such as gearboxes, spindles, and turrets, for inspection and complete rebuilding
- Performing skilled hand-scraping of machine ways and mating surfaces to restore flatness, squareness, and parallelism within micron tolerances.
- Replacing critical wear items, including ball screws, linear guides, bearings, and encoder systems.
- Deep understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Expert use of precision measuring instruments like dial indicators, electronic levels, and micrometers.
