JOB DESCRIPTION – MILLING MACHINE OPERATOR
🔧 Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Milling Machine Operator to operate and maintain milling machines for producing precision metal parts according to specifications.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines (manual or CNC)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds
- Monitor machining process and make adjustments as needed
- Measure finished parts using instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of components
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
✅ Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- 1–3 years experience as a milling operator (CNC knowledge is a plus)
- Basic understanding of machining processes and tools
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
