VMC/HMC Machine Shop Incharge

• Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily VMC/HMC machine shop operations.
• Plan and allocate production work as per the production schedule.
• Monitor machine utilization and productivity.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the specified timeline.
• Maintain product quality as per customer drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance and Planning departments.
• Monitor tool life and ensure timely tool replacement.
• Reduce machine downtime and improve OEE.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Maintain production records, rejection reports, and machine logs.
• Train and guide machine operators and supervisors.
• Ensure proper implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM activities.
• Ensure all employees follow safety rules, PPE usage, and company policies.
• Control rejection, rework, and wastage.
• Support new product development and process improvement activities.
• Handle shift planning, attendance, and manpower allocation.

• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of VMC/HMC machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of CNC programming basics.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Computer knowledge

• Qualification:Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
