Overview

An accountant prepares, analyzes, and maintains financial records for individuals, businesses, or organizations. They ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly and provide insights to support decision-making.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and examine financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports)
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions

  • Prepare tax returns and handle tax-related issues
  • Conduct audits and identify discrepancies or fraud
