Job Description

A pest control operator (also called a pest control technician) is responsible for identifying, managing, and eliminating infestations of insects, rodents, and other pests in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect properties to identify pest problems (e.g., termites, cockroaches, rodents)
  • Determine the type and extent of infestation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using chemicals, traps, or other methods
  • Apply pesticides safely and in accordance with regulations
  • Set up preventive measures to avoid future infestations
  • Educate customers on sanitation and maintenance practices
  • Maintain records of inspections, treatments, and chemicals used
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
