Job Description

Sugartown Retail Ltd is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and statutory compliance.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts and pass daily accounting entries
  • Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances
  • Manage invoices, billing, and vendor payments
  • Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow
  • Prepare basic financial reports and MIS reports
  • Coordinate with CA for audits, filings, and compliance work
  • Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
  • Support day-to-day finance and admin activities


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
  • Good knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST, and TDS
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in retail accounting will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting software
