Job Description

Job Title: Jewellery Accountant

Job Summary:A Jewellery Accountant manages financial records, inventory accounting, and transactions related to gold, diamonds, and other precious items, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:Maintain accounts, ledgers, and financial statements
  • Handle billing, GST, and tax compliance
  • Track jewellery inventory and stock valuation
  • Monitor purchase and sales transactions
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare reports
  • Coordinate with auditors and management
  • Required Skills:Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally)
  • Understanding of GST and taxation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of jewellery valuation
