Job Description
## Role Summary
This is a combined accounts-and-administration position. You will own the day-to-day bookkeeping, GST compliance, and payment track
## Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in the company's accounting / ERP software (Tally / ERPNext / GoFrugal / Zoho Books)
- Record sales invoices, purchase invoices, and journal entries accurately
- Manage accounts receivable — track customer outstanding, follow up on overdue payments, reconcile customer ledgers
- Manage accounts payable — process supplier payments and reconcile supplier ledgers
- Reconcile daily cash, UPI, and bank collections
- Perform bank reconciliation (ICICI current account)
- Handle GST compliance — prepare data for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, e-invoicing, and e-way bills; coordinate filing with the CA
- Manage TDS / TCS deductions and records
- Maintain APMC cess and market records as applicable
- Manage petty cash and expense records
- Support month-end and year-end closing; coordinate with the auditor / Chartered Accountant
## Administration Responsibilities
- Handle general office administration and day-to-day coordination
- Maintain organised records of statutory documents and licenses (GST, FSSAI, Udyam, trade license, LLP documents) and track renewal dates
- Coordinate between sales, purchase, dispatch, and accounts teams to ensure smooth billing and delivery flow
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain employee attendance records; support basic payroll and HR documentation
- Manage office supplies, utilities, and vendor coordination
- Prepare periodic reports and provide data support to management
