1. Study and understand application environment for all HOT gaskets, Cold Gaskets and Heat shields

2. Study / prepare part drawings considering engine /package boundary conditions

3. Work out design proposals, review with the global team and submit to customer

4. Co-ordinate for manufacturing feasibility

5. DVP finalization with customers

6. Co-ordinate with the customers – sales team- internal departments like purchase, production, quality, maintenance

7. Return Part analysis

8. Visiting customers as per calendar to generate new business opportunities

9. Visiting customers to attend functional quality issues

10. Benchmarking of competitor parts

11. Participate in White Space analysis with team

12. Knowledge & capability to handle IATF systems/documentation responsibility for Engineering dept.

13. Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes.
14. Team coordination & management
