Associate Director - Systems Architecture - Solutions (F)
The OWG Tech department is seeking a Junior Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable, and secure software architectures across multiple initiatives. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, multi-cloud), software architecture, and integration practices, with a strong emphasis on hands-on technical leadership (100% hands-on). Experience with AI-driven systems, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agent orchestration, is highly valued.
The Junior Technical Architect will support the design and delivery of scalable, secure solutions, gaining hands-on experience with cloud platforms, software architecture, and integration practices.
The Junior Technical Architect will collaborate closely across Technology and Operating Company IT teams, driving innovation while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service excellence.
We will count on you to:
Design and develop software architectures aligned with business needs and enterprise standards.
Support cloud and on-premises solution design, primarily focusing on AWS and Azure environments.
Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation efforts using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Help enforce security best practices, including OWASP guidelines, throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in architectural reviews and provide input on software design and integration.
Support integration efforts with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical skills.
Work closely with senior architects and mentors to develop professional growth and technical expertise.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience in software development or related technical roles.
Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, multi-cloud) and cloud-native architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Deep knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
Proficient in modern technology stacks including Node.js, Angular, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, and APIs.
What makes you stand out?
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, delivery, and infrastructure automation.
Strong grasp of security principles, compliance requirements, and data protection best practices.
Experience with Salesforce platform and integrations is a plus.
