Job Description:
Vertiv Global Engineering Centre, Pune is looking for dynamic and experienced BIM MEPF & Revit family/Content Creation Associate with well-versed in basic coordination with all trades to work closely in with BIM Manager. Associate Engineer - BIM is responsible for the BIM efforts of all project teams at Vertiv. This includes creating high quality coordinated models (MEPF) & creating Revit content using Revit. He should communicate effectively to collaborate with other engineers and manager to complete the assigned project.
In addition to these duties Associate Engineer - BIM is responsible, maintain clear and concise project documentation related to BIM tasks. Ensure model accuracy and completeness according to project standards. Actively learn and apply BIM best practices under the guidance of senior team members. Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within the BIM field. Stay up-to-date with evolving BIM technologies and workflows.
Job Specifications:
• Must have full time bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
• Must have 1-2 years of experience in BIM modeling using Revit.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles and practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit in MEP, Navisworks.
• Understanding of Dynamo scripting tools would be of advantage.
• Creation of Parametric and non-parametric families.
• Generate basic BIM deliverables such as 2D drawings and schedules.
• Review, estimate and give inputs into delivery schedules and level of efforts required to produce deliverables.
• Troubleshoot CAD & Revit modeling, Navisworks queries.
• Create and maintain quality checks and follow standards for project and revit content delivers.
• Excellent in English communication and prestation skills.
• Strong Conceptual, problem solving and Analytical Skills.
• Demonstrate positive attitude, high ethics, and a working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
