Associate Engineer Test
Lab Assistant – Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Lab Operations
- Manage day-to-day lab activities and ensure smooth functioning
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the lab
2. Technical Support
- Perform soldering and basic wiring activities as required
- Assist engineers in setup, testing, and debugging
3. Equipment Management
- Coordinate Equipment AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts)
- Track and ensure timely equipment calibration
- Maintain calibration and maintenance records
4. Inventory & Asset Management
- Maintain inventory records and material tracking
- Handle material movement (inward/outward)
- Perform periodic asset verification
- Manage scrap process as per company guidelines
5. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Support local and global purchasing (e.g., Digi-Key, Mouser, Mimic)
- Maintain and update vendor database
- Assist in raising GARs (Goods Acceptance Requests) and POs (Purchase Orders)
6. Financial & Documentation Support
- Maintain OPEX and CAPEX tracking sheets
- Process and track voucher payments
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
7. Logistics & Shipment Handling
- Manage shipment activities (import & export)
- Coordinate with logistics teams and vendors
Qualifications:
• Diploma in electronics with 5+ years experience
• Strong learning and logical analysis abilities, interested in new technologies, and a spirit of exploration.
