Job Purpose

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Sales will support business development and sales activities for Powerol's diesel generator (DG) sets and power backup solutions. The role is designed to develop future sales professionals by providing exposure to customer engagement, channel management, techno-commercial selling, and market development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in achieving assigned sales targets for Powerol products and solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct customers, OEMs, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.
• Conduct customer visits to understand power requirements and propose suitable DG set solutions.
• Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Application Engineering, Operations, Service, and Finance for timely execution of customer requirements.
• Participate in product demonstrations, exhibitions, customer meets, and promotional activities.
• Maintain and update customer databases, sales pipeline, and CRM records.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback.
• Support dealer/distributor engagement and help strengthen channel relationships.
• Follow up on enquiries, negotiations, order closures, and payment collections.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely response and coordination with after-sales service teams.
