Billing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a Billing / Data Entry Operator to manage day-to-day billing, sales entries, purchase/data entries, and related accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MARG ERP / MARG software.

Candidates with Tally / Tally Prime experience and a willingness to learn MARG software will also be considered.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that all billing and accounting-related data is entered accurately and on time, maintaining proper documentation, and coordinating with the sales, purchase, stores, and accounts teams wherever required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Invoicing

• Prepare sales invoices / bills in MARG ERP software.
• Enter customer orders and prepare invoices based on approved rates, quantities, discounts, and applicable taxes.
• Verify customer details, product details, quantities, rates, discounts, GST rates, and other billing information before generating invoices.
• Handle cash, credit, and other types of billing as applicable.
• Generate invoices, delivery challans, credit notes, debit notes, and other relevant documents.
• Ensure invoices are generated accurately and within the required timelines.
• Make corrections in billing entries wherever authorized.
• Maintain proper records of cancelled, amended, and revised invoices.

2. MARG ERP Data Entry

• Perform day-to-day data entry in MARG software.
• Create and maintain customer, supplier, product/item and other master records.
• Enter sales and purchase transactions accurately.
• Update product rates, discounts, tax rates, units, and other relevant master data as instructed.
• Ensure that all transactions are entered under the correct ledger, item, customer, supplier, and accounting head.

3. Purchase & Stock-Related Entries

• Enter purchase invoices into MARG ERP.
• Verify purchase invoices against supporting documents.
• Enter purchase returns and related adjustments.
