Business Operations Intern – Solar CountyAbout Solar CountySolar County is building a new-age platform for solar plant owners, EPC companies, installers, OEMs, vendors, and service partners. We are currently in our foundation stage, where every team member will get the opportunity to work closely with the core team and understand how a solar service and technology company is built from the ground level.

We are looking for young, active, and responsible interns who can support multiple branches of work including customer handling, product explanation, vendor coordination, database management, and online business updates.

Month 2: ₹10,000 stipend

Month 3: ₹10,000 stipend

Stipend will be applicable based on regular attendance, work performance, discipline, and task completion.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Receiving & CommunicationThe intern will receive customer enquiries, understand customer requirements, explain Solar County products and services, and guide customers toward the right service package.

They will help customers understand services like solar plant health checkup, AMC plans, washing services, repair and maintenance, registration membership, and other upcoming Solar County offerings.

2. Product & Service ExplanationThe intern will learn all Solar County products and services and explain them in simple language to customers, vendors, EPCs, and partners.

They should be able to clearly communicate the benefits, process, pricing structure, and next steps.

3. Online Product & Service UpdatesThe intern will help update product and service information on the company website, app, CRM, social media, and other online platforms.

This includes uploading descriptions, updating service details, preparing basic content drafts, and keeping information fresh and accurate.

4. Database ManagementThe intern will maintain and update databases related to:

Customer enquiries

Solar plant owners

Vendors

OEM companies

EPC companies

Installers

Service partners

Product suppliers

Follow-up status

Accuracy and regular updates will be very important.

5. Vendor CoordinationThe intern will connect with vendors, collect product details, price details, catalogues, company profiles, and contact information.

They will help create a proper vendor database for future business use.

6. OEM, EPC & Installer OnboardingThe intern will support the onboarding process for OEM companies, EPC companies, and solar installation teams.

This may include calling, emailing, sharing company information, explaining onboarding benefits, collecting documents, and scheduling meetings with the Solar County team.

7. Follow-up & ReportingThe intern will maintain daily follow-up records and submit regular updates to the reporting manager.

They will track pending calls, pending documents, customer responses, vendor responses, and onboarding progress.

MS Excel / Google Sheets knowledge

Ability to make calls and follow up professionally

Basic writing ability for product descriptions and updates

Solar or electrical background will be an added advantage, but it is not compulsory.
