Chartered Accountant

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Chartered Accountant to oversee our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize financial performance. As a key player in our distribution business, you will manage day-to-day accounting, inventory valuation, supply chain finance, tax compliance, and financial reporting to support strategic business decisions.

• Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & ReportingOversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory standards.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide actionable insights to management regarding cost control.
• 2. Inventory & Supply Chain FinanceSupervise stock audits, reconciliation, and inventory valuation mechanisms specific to the distribution model.
• Analyze supply chain costs, transportation margins, and warehouse expenses to optimize profitability.
• Monitor distributor/dealer credit limits and oversee the aging analysis of receivables to ensure healthy cash flow.
• 3. Taxation & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, including timely filing of GST returns, TDS, Income Tax, and corporate filings.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
• Stay updated on changing commercial tax laws affecting logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks.
• 4. Treasury & Cash Flow ManagementMonitor daily cash flows, working capital requirements, and banking relationships.
• Evaluate and manage credit risks associated with high-volume distribution channels.
• Skills & QualificationsEducation: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid membership number.
• Experience: [2–5 years] of post-qualification experience. Experience in a Distribution, FMCG, Logistics, or Retail company is highly preferred.

• Expert-level command over MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
• Competencies: Strong understanding of supply chain accounting, commercial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and robust communication abilities to collaborate with logistics and sales teams.
