Chinese Chef

Job Summary-

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. The ideal candidate should have experience in Chinese cooking techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities -

• Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes as per restaurant standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Manage daily food preparation and mise en place.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ingredient requirements.
• Minimize food wastage and control food costs.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
• Collaborate with management on menu development and special promotions.

Requirements -

• Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, and ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
