Civil Site Engineer

Location: Project Sites – Pune & Nearby Locations

Job Overview

The Site Engineer will be responsible for execution, supervision, and quality control of construction activities at site. The role requires coordination with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings and quality standards.

 Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

 Execute day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.

 Supervise civil works including RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, and external development.

 Ensure work is carried out as per project schedule and construction methodology.

 Monitor site progress and report daily/weekly status to Project Manager.

2. Quality Control

 Ensure adherence to quality standards and approved materials.

 Check shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and finishing works.

 Coordinate with QA/QC team and consultants for inspections and approvals.

 Maintain quality checklists and site records.

3. Contractor & Vendor Coordination

 Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth workflow.

 Allocate work areas and ensure adequate manpower at site.

 Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion.

 Resolve site-level issues related to execution and manpower.

4. Planning & Documentation

 Study drawings, BOQs, and specifications thoroughly.

 Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), material consumption reports, and site logs.

 Assist in quantity take-offs and material planning.

 Maintain site registers, checklists, and compliance documents.

5. Safety & Compliance

 Ensure safety norms are followed at site.

 Conduct toolbox talks and enforce use of safety gear.

 Comply with statutory and environmental guidelines.

 Coordinate during audits and inspections.

 Key Skills & Competencies

 Strong knowledge of RCC and finishing works

 Understanding of construction drawings & BOQs

 Good coordination and communication skills

 Problem-solving and decision-making ability

 Knowledge of quality and safety standards

 Education: B. E / B. Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

 Experience: 3–7 years in real estate or construction projects

 Software Knowledge: AutoCAD (basic), MS Excel, MS Office
