Job Description
- Machine Setup: Select, install, and align tools, fixtures, and raw materials according to technical drawings or setups sheets.
- Operation & Monitoring: Operate VMC machines, adjusting feed rates and M/G codes to ensure efficient production.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) to meet strict tolerances.
- Programming: Run existing programs or make necessary adjustments to CNC programs.
- Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Experience: Proven experience as a VMC Operator or CNC machinist (usually 2+ years preferred).
