Credit Manager-Loan Against Property (LAP)-Credit
As the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit process for LAP loans, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Your role will involve strategic planning, team management, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's credit strategy and contributing to its overall success.
- Lead and manage the LAP Credit department, providing strategic direction and oversight.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Review and approve LAP loan applications, conducting thorough credit assessments.
- Monitor and analyze credit performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless loan processing and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor the credit team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit management.
- Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high ethical standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in credit management, with a strong background in LAP loans.
- Proven track record of successful credit management and business growth.
- Excellent knowledge of credit risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Proficiency in using credit analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
