Job Description
A Data Entry Operator (DEO) is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining company data in computer systems, Excel sheets, or databases with accuracy and speed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enter data into computer systems and spreadsheets
- Verify and correct errors in entered data
- Maintain records, files, and documents
- Scan and organize physical and digital documents
- Prepare reports using MS Excel or Word
- Maintain confidentiality of company information
- Follow company data entry procedures and deadlines
- Coordinate with back-office or admin team
Skills Required:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good typing speed (usually 25–30 WPM preferred)
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic English communication skills
- Time management and teamwork
