Design Engineer

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for robotic cells, End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT), grippers, conveyors, jigs, and fixtures using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.

• Design Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) to automate manual production processes.

• Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and kinematic studies to validate robotic mechanism performance, structural integrity, and cycle times.

• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and operating procedures (SOPs).

• Collaborate with electrical/controls teams to integrate PLC and vision systems; support on-floor assembly, testing, and debugging.

• Optimize existing designs for functionality and cost-effectiveness based on DFMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) principles.
