Digital Manager - ESG & Sustainability Assurance

Position Details

As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the Digital Manager will be responsible for

• Business Development & Business Case Creation – He/she will be expected to create opportunities to get billable work for the development team in domains of ESG Product development/ESG Data/ESG or Sustainability related AI Applications for clients etc.
• Managing Resourcing & Project delivery - working closely with capability leads (web apps/AI/ MSFT tech stack) to establish the development team and ensure project timelines and scope is met – within Budgets

Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)

Requirement & Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech/MCA & MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or specialization within ESG, Climate Change & Sustainability Domain with adequate industry experience.
• 11+ years of experience in project and program management
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and practices
• Preferred to have a grasp of the CCaSS/ESG (Corporate, Social, and Environmental Sustainability/Environmental, Social, and Governance) domain
• Should have proficiency in lead generation and business development – have worked on business and technical consulting and proposals (familiar with business case creation, opportunity assessment, technical consulting and solutioning)
• Experience in independently leading and delivering organization wide Initiatives
• Proficiency in managing and successfully delivering projects across a range of diverse technologies like
• Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI), RAG, Advance RAG, LLM’s (GPT, Claude, Gemini)
• Microsoft tech stack (Share point, Office Automation, WPF, UWP)
• Power platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Robotics Process Automation (Blue Prism, AA, UI Path)
• Web technologies Experts (UI/UX, .NET, JAVA, Angular JS, RPA and Testing engineers)
• Rapid prototyping via Replit, FIGMA, Mural or similar
• Good to have
• Industry accredited certifications in ESG
• Program management certifications
• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strong relationships with onshore stakeholders and manage their expectations on service delivery
• Manage technical engagements spanning across a range of technologies
• Manage the EY practice with client proposals, business development, presentation etc.
• Manages the delivery of projects and / or programs to schedule, budget and scope by leading project teams, appropriate project plans, manages project risks and ensures the appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools and responsibilities are in place to deliver the plan.
• Supervise and oversee multiple projects throughout their entire program lifecycle
• Monitor operational measures (e.g. utilization, organizational KPIs etc.)
• Responsible for identifying and creating new service offerings/Solutions
• Responsible for managing the operational aspects of Project management such as, resource management, Metrics & Reporting, performance management and elements of risk management
• In addition, the Manager will be responsible to build strong relationships with local teams and clients, identifying areas where GDS can improve quality of, and increase the scope of work
• Communicate CCaSS project & pipelines goals & its status along with progress to EY Leadership and stakeholders
• Knowledge & ability to manage & track portfolio financials along resource utilization in CCaSS domain

Additional skills requirements:

• Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously through effective prioritization. Must have demonstrated project management experience.
• Knowledge of firm’s reporting tools and processes.
• Proactive, organized and self-sufficient with ability to priorities and multitask.
• Analyses complex or unusual problems and is able to deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions.
• Ability to quickly and easily create/ gather/ analyze data from a variety of sources.
• A robust and resilient disposition able to encourage discipline in team behaviors
