Director-Pre Sales

Role - Enterprise Solutions Architect (Large Deals)

  • Key Skill Requirements
    • Must have at least 20+ years of overall IT experience in Delivery, Presales, Business Analysis and Solution Architecting roles
    • Must have played a leading role in RFP / RFI response activities and proactive opportunity pursuits for at least 5 - 7 years, especially in large, complex Managed Services, Application/Infrastructure Maintenance & Support, Transformation, multi-tower deals
    • Must have a good knowledge and delivery background to work on in any of the areas around AMS, Infrastructure (On-premises, DC, Cloud, IaaS), Platform (PaaS), Enterprise Applications (ERP, COTS, SaaS), Custom Application Development, Data & Analytics etc.
    • Must have good knowledge of Commercial / Pricing models
    • Must have experience/knowledge of Agile frameworks like DevSecOps, SAFe Agile etc.

 

  • Roles & responsibilities:

 

  • Solution Planning:
    • Collaborate with sales, delivery and deal team to understand client requirements, objectives, relevant insights into their business processes, challenges, and strategic goals
    • Anchor the technical solution and ensures that the solution embodies Birlasoft win themes and differentiators and meets the client’s needs and requirements in both the current and future states

 

  • Solution Design:
    • Develop end-to-end enterprise solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
    • Create detailed technical architectures, considering scalability, security, performance, and integration aspects, leveraging Birlasoft’ s offerings and capabilities.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements and translate them into technical specifications; Work closely with practice SMEs to ensure a comprehensive understanding of functional and non-functional requirements.

 

 

 

  • Proposal Development:
    • Lead storyboarding by crafting overarching Solution Strategy, Roadmap and embedding differentiators
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution architecture documents, design specifications, and technical diagrams; Provide clear and concise documentation to support implementation and ongoing maintenance.

 

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Act as a technical leader, guiding development teams and ensuring the adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the solution design process.

 

  • Quality & Risk Management:
    • Conduct architecture reviews to ensure alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines.
    • Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to address potential solution issues
  • Client Presentation:
    • Present complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
    • Articulate the business value of proposed solutions and address client concerns effectively.
  • Competency Building:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including development, operations, and support, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of proposed solutions.

Partner with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and incorporate their products and services into the overall solution.
