Job Description – HVAC Estimation Engineer

📌 Role Description

As an HVAC Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and project bids for HVAC systems. This role involves analyzing project requirements, conducting site surveys, reviewing tender documents, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure competitive and precise estimations.

Key tasks include:

• Analyzing BOQ, tender documents, and layouts.
• Preparing pre-bid queries and clarifications.
• Floating RFQs and inquiries to vendors for quotations.
• Preparing BOQ and detailed cost estimations.
• Submitting quotations to clients.
• Conducting site surveys to understand scope of work.
• Reviewing drawings and tender documents, raising and replying to technical and commercial queries.
• Ensuring accuracy in material costing and estimation.
• Using MS Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Prior experience in HVAC estimation or a similar role.
• Proficiency in estimation software tools.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
