Field Sales Executive

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be the face of Spacify Décor in the market. You will visit architects, interior designers, builders, and commercial establishments, showcase our flooring product range, generate leads, and convert them into long-term client relationships. This is a high-ownership role with direct reporting to the founder.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and visit potential clients including architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, office spaces, hotels, restaurants, and retail stores
• Carry and present physical flooring samples professionally during client visits
• Generate leads through field visits, cold outreach, networking, and referrals

• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable flooring and décor solutions
• Prepare and share product quotations, follow up consistently, and close orders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade clients (architects, designers, contractors) for repeat business and referrals
• Maintain an up-to-date record of client interactions, leads, and pipeline status
• Attend trade events, exhibitions, and industry meetups to expand the network
• Coordinate with the operations team on order timelines, delivery, and after-sales support
• Share regular field updates and weekly reports directly with the founder

Required Qualifications

• Education: Minimum graduate degree (any discipline); background in civil engineering, architecture, or interior design is an advantage
• Experience: 1–4 years of field sales experience; prior experience in building materials, flooring, tiles, paints, plywood, hardware, or interiors is strongly preferred
• Geography: Based in Pune; must be comfortable with regular local travel within Pune and occasional travel to other parts of Maharashtra

Skills and Attributes

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English
• Confident, presentable, and comfortable meeting senior professionals (architects, project managers, business owners)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage own schedule
• Basic proficiency with smartphone apps for reporting (WhatsApp, Google Sheets, or CRM tools)
• Familiarity with the construction, flooring, or interior design ecosystem is a strong plus
• Owns a two-wheeler and holds a valid driving license (preferred)
