Food Safety Officer

About us: Café Arabia is Pune’s largest Middle Eastern food brand, with a Central Kitchen and 10 outlets.

About the job: We are looking for a Food Safety Officer to keep our kitchen and all outlets clean, safe, and fully FSSAI-compliant. You will be based at our Central Kitchen in Wadgaon Sheri and will travel to our outlets regularly. This is a hands-on job, not a desk job.

What you will do:

• Make sure the Central Kitchen and all outlets follow FSSAI rules and stay ready for inspection

• Set up and check hygiene and food safety practices at every location

• Check that food is stored and transported at the right temperature

• Do regular hygiene checks at the kitchen and outlets, and fix problems quickly

• Manage cleaning, pest control, and waste standards

• Train staff on safe food handling and hygiene

• Look into food quality complaints and find the cause

• Keep proper records for audits and inspections

What we are looking for:

• Degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or Microbiology

• 2-4 years of experience in food safety or quality (restaurant, cloud kitchen, or food factory preferred)

• Good knowledge of FSSAI rules and food hygiene

• FoSTaC certificate is a must

• Comfortable travelling to outlets across Pune

• Practical and responsible, with a hands-on attitude
