Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven GEM ( Government E Marketplace) Sales Specialist with 2–4 years of experience in the Laboratory Supplies Division to join our growing team. This is a remote (Work From Home) opportunity for professionals who have hands-on experience managing sales through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal and handling institutional/government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle on the GeM portal (bid participation, catalog management, order processing, and compliance).
- Identify and track relevant tenders/bids for laboratory consumables, instruments, and related products.
- Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, technical documentation, and timely submission of bids.
- Follow up with government institutes, research labs, universities, and hospitals.
- Maintain sales pipeline, achieve monthly/quarterly targets, and ensure timely payment collection.
- Prepare MIS reports and sales forecasts.
Key Requirements:
- 2–4 years of proven experience handling GeM sales (mandatory).
- Background in laboratory supplies, biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or scientific products preferred.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes and government procurement systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup.
