Join us as an IT Business Analyst in Pune and lead the global delivery of mission critical planning systems that power our Supply Chain operations. This is a role for someone who wants to influence how world class planning technology supports patient outcomes, shape a global service landscape and drive continuous improvement in a complex and fast evolving environment.

What will you be doing?

As an IT Business Analyst – Commercial supports International Commercial initiatives by analysing business needs, documenting clear and testable requirements, and supporting the delivery of Salesforce‑enabled solutions. The role works under the guidance of Product Owners and senior analysts to translate defined business objectives into executable requirements that improve sales processes, user experience, and productivity.

This is a delivery‑focused role, contributing to Agile teams and supporting the continuous improvement of commercial processes rather than owning strategy or roadmaps

Business Analysis & Delivery Support

  • Independently drive business analysis activities for International Commercial initiatives such as Salesforce CRM, Tender Management, Corporate Account Management, SAP Enhancements and Support Enterprise Architecture and Risk Assessment (EARS) processes for new and old applications.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using user stories, use cases, and process flows, working with business stakeholders and Product Owners.
  • Maintain and refine requirements documentation to support sprint planning and delivery.
  • Conduct AS‑IS and TO‑BE process analysis for scoped initiatives to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support benefit, impact, and effort analysis for proposed changes
  • Commercial Platform Functionality & Process Enablement
  • Support configuration and enhancement requirements for platform functionality like Salesforce or other commercial platforms in line with defined standards and platform strategy.
  • Analyze business processes and information needs to support improvements to usability and operational efficiency.
  • Apply agreed process standards and contribute to harmonisation efforts across regions.

Testing & Change Support:

  • Write test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist in testing coordination for new functionality and releases.
  • Support investigation and resolution of business and system issues by documenting symptoms, impacts, and root causes.

What will you need to be Successful?

  •  25% – Document clear, testable requirements and user stories; support walkthroughs and validation with stakeholders.
  • 25% – Perform process mapping and analysis; maintain AS‑IS / TO‑BE documentation.
  • 20% – Write test cases and support SIT/UAT activities.
  • 15% – Support process standardisation initiatives for assigned areas.
  • 15% – Analyse and document business or system issues, supporting resolution with IT teams
  • Provide business analysis support aligned to EU working hours (09:00–17:00), with flexibility as required.
  • Work on multiple initiatives simultaneously with supervision from Product Owners or senior analysts.
  • Apply agile techniques to manage requirements in a structured and iterative manner.
  • Build effective working relationships with business users, IT teams, and external partners

 Business & Domain Knowledge

  • Practical experience supporting Commercial, Sales, or Marketing processes, including some of:
  • Sales force effectiveness
  • Tender Management
  • CPQ
  • Sales operations
  • Key or corporate account management
  • Customer portals or eCommerce

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.

  • Supports investigative work to determine business requirements and process improvements.
  • Applies standard business analysis techniques under guidance.
  • Contributes to AS‑IS / TO‑BE analysis and requirements specifications for small to medium‑complexity initiatives.
  • Supports prioritisation and backlog refinement activities led by Product Owners
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience working with: Agile / SCRUM teams, Jira and Confluence
  • User story development and process mapping
  • Location: Pune, India or Hybrid
  • Education: Bachelor’s or master's degree in IT or Business. Or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to Salesforce CRM (≥1 year)
  • Business Analysis certification
