Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in Tally Prime. The role involves day-to-day bookkeeping, GST and TDS compliance support, document verification, and timely reporting to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries) accurately in Tally Prime.
• Maintain ledgers, perform reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer), and ensure books are balanced.
• Apply core accounting principles — Double -entry, accruals, debits/credits, and proper classification of accounts.
• Assist in GST compliance: data preparation, input tax credit reconciliation, and support for GSTR filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Assist in TDS compliance: deduction tracking, challan preparation, and return filing support.
• Verify supporting documents (invoices, bills, vouchers, purchase orders) for accuracy, completeness, and approval before entry.
• Prepare and submit financial reports (MIS, expense summaries, outstanding statements) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain organized records and filing of physical and digital accounting documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (auditors, vendors) as required.
