Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Java Developer with extensive expertise in microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and API design to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular 20, and GraphQL. The candidate will lead technical delivery, enforce best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, operational resilience, and alignment with business goals.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
Java (latest LTS version, e.g., Java 17 or 11) — comprehensive experience in developing scalable, enterprise-level applications supporting microservices ecosystems
Spring Boot (latest version) — expertise in building and supporting microservices architectures supporting complex workflows
Angular 20 — proficiency in creating responsive, user-friendly web applications supporting enterprise UI needs
GraphQL — experience designing and integrating APIs supporting flexible data querying and manipulation
Databases: NoSQL DocumentDB (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) — supporting data persistence and transformation support
Version control: Git, GitHub — for source code management and collaborative development support
Preferred Software Skills:
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP supporting deployment, scaling, and cloud-native development support (preferred)
CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions supporting automated build, test, and deployment workflows
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes supporting scalable, containerized deployment
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure microservices architecture supporting enterprise applications
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and back-end teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and APIs
Develop and optimize APIs using GraphQL and REST for data access across distributed systems
Build and maintain front-end components using Angular 20 supporting high-performance user interfaces
Support cloud deployment, environment setup, and system upgrades supporting operational resilience and enterprise standards
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot failures, and support security and compliance requirements
Drive automation of deployment, testing, and monitoring workflows supporting CI/CD best practices
Document system architecture, API specifications, and operational procedures supporting operational transparency and audit readiness

8-12 years supporting enterprise applications with Java, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying high-availability, secure enterprise applications supporting business workflows
Extensive experience working with APIs (GraphQL, REST) supporting flexible data access and integration
Hands-on deployment experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration in cloud environments
Industry experience supporting complex enterprise systems in regulated environments (preferred)
Support experience supporting large-scale, high-volume transaction systems supporting operational resilience
Day-to-Day Activities
Develop, optimize, and support Java microservices and front-end applications supporting enterprise workflows
Design and implement APIs supporting data exchange across systems and external integrations
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine technical architecture supporting operational and scalability goals
Support containerized deployment, system scaling, and cloud migration activities supporting high availability
Troubleshoot performance, security, and operational issues proactively, supporting incident response and root cause analysis
Support automation of deployment and testing workflows supporting agile delivery cycles
Maintain documentation of architecture, code, deployment procedures, and operational policies
Continuously evaluate new technologies, cloud services, and frameworks to improve system performance and security
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
8-12 years supporting enterprise-scale applications, microservices, or cloud-native environments in a high-availability setting
Certifications supporting enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or API design are advantageous
Proven history of delivering scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise systems supporting business growth

Leadership qualities to guide teams, enforce development standards, and drive best practices
Effective stakeholder communication skills to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
