Operations Executive

About the Role:

RentalFurniture.in is seeking a highly organized, prompt, and versatile Operations Executive. This is a comprehensive role in which your role shall include team hiring, leave management and overall handling of deliveries and inventories. You will be the vital link between our warehouse floor and our customers, overseeing end-to-end daily operations—from specific inventory management and order processing to final delivery execution and customer communication. Because our delivery and pickup schedules drive our day-to-day operations, the ideal candidate must be highly flexible, as work hours regularly extend into the evening to ensure all deliveries are completed.

Key Responsibilities:

       Warehouse & Inventory Management: Maintain meticulous control over furniture inventory, including accurate tracking of serialized items (e.g., individual bed or sofa serial numbers). Ensure all items are properly quality-checked, prepped, and kitted for dispatch.

·       Logistics & Delivery Coordination: Plan and manage daily routing for furniture deliveries and return pickups across Pune. Adapt to dynamic schedules to ensure 100% daily fulfillment, even if it requires working late evenings.

·       Customer Communication: Act as the primary, confident point of contact for customers regarding their delivery and pickup statuses. Promptly reply to queries and proactively resolve any on-ground logistical challenges.

·       Systems & Data Management: Utilize MS Excel extensively for daily tracking. Update internal e-commerce and accounting systems (familiarity with platforms like Shopify and Zoho Books is highly advantageous) to maintain synchronized operational data.

·       Process Optimization: Oversee the smooth transition of orders from the storefront to the warehouse floor and finally to the customer, ensuring high standards of service at every touchpoint.

Requirements & Qualifications

·       Education: Must be a Graduate in any discipline.

·       Computer Skills: Highly comfortable with basic computer operations and proficient in MS Excel.

·       Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be confident and prompt in customer-facing interactions.

·       Flexibility: Willingness to work highly flexible hours. Delivery schedules span the entire day and frequently require late evening closures.

·       Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
