What You’ll Be Doing:

Job Summary   

As a Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in both software development and DevOps practices, managing and enhancing our extensive application suite and cloud infrastructure. You will help drive our transformation in cloud infrastructure management and application reliability by developing internal platform solutions and supporting robust engineering operations. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about both software engineering and DevOps and is eager to collaborate within a high-performing team.  

Essential Functions   

• Enable container-based application delivery using Docker, Kubernetes, with a focus on AKS and Azure Container Apps.  

• Create features that automate infrastructure and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).  

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support consistent, secure, and reliable deployments.  

• Support and guide application teams through containerization and modern deployment patterns.  

• Debug and resolve complex issues across application, platform, and infrastructure layers when required.  

• Design and maintain platform solutions and automation tooling that simplify infrastructure and application delivery. 

• Develop APIs, automation scripts, and platform integrations to enable scalable and efficient engineering operations. 

  

Required Qualifications   

• Strong experience in DevOps and platform engineering, building automation, internal tools, and scalable systems to support engineering teams. 

• Proficiency in a modern language (Python, Go, or TypeScript) to develop APIs, automation frameworks, and platform integrations. 

• Solid understanding of software design principles, testing strategies, and code quality standards.  

• Experience with Terraform and Ansible.  

• Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).  

• Experience with Git-based CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, etc.).  

Preferred Qualifications   

• Familiarity with CNCF projects such as ArgoCD, Kyverno and KEDA.
